Equipment assessments and asset valuations have been carried out in ports in India, Bahrain, Jordan, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania and Mozambique for various terminal operators and port authorities.
Equipment has been erected, and commissioning engineers have been supplied to OEMs working in countries including Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, USA, El Salvador and several sub-Saharan African and European countries.
Cranes and yard equipment have been maintained under contract in Tanzania, Cameroon, Angola, Italy, and in South Africa by Portquip Africa's subsidiary, CPS Projects.
Artisans have been trained in sub-Saharan Africa and Central America on various makes and types of quay cranes and yard equipment, and crane operators from West Africa have been trained in South Africa by arrangement with Transnet
Accident repairs, electrical upgrades and general mechanical, electrical and structural repairs and refurbishments on cranes and spreaders have been carried out in the Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Nigeria, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya and Saudi Arabia.
Bromma spreaders have been sold and commissioned in Ghana, Kenya and Cameroon, and new spreaders have been commissioned on behalf of Bromma in several other African countries.
